Sponsor golf outing gets underway with a light
breakfast from 7:00 to 7:45; shotgun start at 8:00; lunch immediately following
play. All participants are allowed one practice round as a part of their entry
fee, any other rounds will cost $15 per person.
Monday, June 9th, 2008
Golfer check-in begins at 7:00 AM.
Practice round for participants from 7:00 until 2:00. Carts may be used for
practice rounds, rental through the pro shop. Banquet begins at approximately
6:30, in the Club House of Piper Glen. Tee times for the practice round may be
made by reserving your tee time
online.
Tuesday, June 10th, 2008
First day of Tournament play. Players will be paired according to the scores
submitted on their entry blanks. Parents/spectators will be allowed to use
carts, but they will be restricted to the cart paths. Walking spectators will
be restricted to the cart paths or rough areas. Contact with the players during
the round is prohibited. Marshals on the course will be available to assist as
needed and to enforce course rules. Official rules will be handled by the Club
Pro or his designee. A cookout is scheduled at 5 p.m. at the Club House of
Piper Glen.
Wednesday, June 11th, 2008
Final day of tournament play. Players will be paired by their Tuesday scores,
and will tee off beginning at 6:30 a.m.in reverse order of their scores
(i.e.,high scores first). The order of play will be younger girls followed by
the older girls, younger boys followed by the older boys. At the conclusion of
each division, trophies will be presented to the top three finishers. A brief
discussion will follow, explaining the process of advancing to the
International Tournament in Florida.
